Renewed supply pressure lifts Chinese antimony trioxide prices

Despite weak demand, antimony metal supply tightness in China has lifted the prices of the the flame retardant mineral higher as the summer season ends. Strict environmental inspections and related output cuts in China are widely expected to continue.

Chinese antimony trioxide spot prices jumped higher 22 August amid further raw material supply squeeze as the quiet business conditions during the summer season draws to an end.
