Chemical grade chromite prices rebound

Chromite price jumped to a new high since May following several months of low benchmarks, as the market is supported by higher UG2 quotes due to lower ferro-chrome imports into China.

Chemical-grade chromite spot prices spiked this week amid increased activities following the end of the quiet summer season, while gains in the market were supported by low imports of metallurgical ore to China.
