Chinese magnesia market continues to surge

The magnesia market in China continues to appreciate on the back of tightness in supply and production stoppages. Meanwhile, Anshan is planning to consolidate all local magnesia companies into one, state-owned, conglomerate.
Prices of Chinese high-grade fused magnesia have increased
further by $100/tonne over the past week and have now exceeded
$1,100/tonne, as issues affecting production operations
continue in China....
