Output up, profits down for China coatings industry in H1

The rising cost of raw materials such as TiO2 decreased profits at coatings companies in China in H1, according to the China Coating Association.

While the coatings industry increased output in H1 this year profits dropped during the period, Lianying Sun, the director of the China Coating Association said at the group's annual meeting held in Hangzhou in the first week of September.
