Chemours, Honeywell challenge US court ruling to reinstate HFCs ban

The two major fluorochemicals producers will be appealing against last month's US court verdict to reverse a ban on a list of hydrofluorocarbons, arguing on the grounds of the risk to human health and environment.

US-based chemicals producers Chemours and Honeywell International Inc will challenge the federal court ruling to reinstate a previous ban on a list of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), both companies said earlier this week.
