European fused magnesia prices rise further

Spot prices of fused magnesia material in Europe have risen by up to $400/tonne on average as Chinese FM grades also appreciated after the Golden Week holiday.

Prolonged tightness in fused magnesia (FM) supply has pushed European prices further upwards over the past week, as the widespread shortage shows no signs of abating.

Fused magnesia prices had already broken the $1,000/tonne mark in the European market in September, as a result of the sharp decline...
