Kenmare reports another quarter of record ilmenite production

The miner sees ilmenite prices bouncing back in China, while shipments were slowed in Q3 by bad weather and vessel classification.

Kenmare Resources plc reported record ilmenite production, with Chinese demand also rising after a summer slowdown.

The Ireland-based miner reported that it increased the total volume of ore mined from its Moma mine in Mozambique in Q3 by 9% y-o-y, to 7.79m tonnes however ore volumes were down quarter-on-quarter.
