Market patterns governing andalusite trade are expected to change next year, as suppliers say they will seek shorter contracts amid a situation of high demand and limited output.

The andalusite market is expected to be characterised by tightness in supply and higher prices throughout 2018 as availability of volumes is set to remain an issue for buyers, IM heard at the UniteCR 2017 conference in Santiago, Chile.
