Chinese lithium carbonate spot prices remain world price driver

European and US lithium carbonate and hydroxide spot prices rose this week led by higher prices in the Chinese market where consumers are reporting a lack of available material.

Lithium carbonate (min 99.0-99.5 Li2CO3) spot prices in China have risen this week sustained by strong battery production within the country and ongoing  issues with material supply.
