Utility company files suit against Chemours in fluorochemical case

A North Carolina utilities company files suit against the TiO2 giant, over the release of the Gen-X fluorochemical into water supply.

Chemical and titanium dioxide producer Chemours is facing legal action from a North Carolina utilities company, over the alleged contamination of the local water supply through the release of the Gen-X fluorochemical, which it claims amounts to a "toxic chemical shell game".
