AMG profits rise while raw material prices rally

Increasing antimony and graphite prices have strengthened AMG's third-quarter 2017 returns.

AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group (AMG) reported higher revenues and profits in its third-quarter results, concurrent with a rise in mineral prices.

Revenue from the company’s critical materials segment rose 15% year-on-year to $25.9 million, attributed to the increasing prices for a number of minerals including antimony, titanium and graphite....
