Chromium ’17: Zimbabwe to support small-scale chrome miners

The government is allocating land for new chrome operations and is seeking to attract willing investors to support them, while it remains focused on expanding smelting capacity in the country.

Zimbabwe’s government aims to support small-scale miners as part of the expansion of its chrome industry, but investors are needed to supply capital for new mining operations and the upgrading of local processing capacity.
