High refractories sales for Magnesita in Jan-Sep

The company posted a high net loss related to the divestment of the carbon bricks operation in Germany, but business was otherwise strong in both refractories and minerals sales.

Brazilian refractory maker Magnesita Refratarios SA posted double-digit growth in revenues in the nine months to September, on the back of high demand from recovering steel markets.
