Nigeria seeking to develop ores and alloys, industrial minerals sectors - mines minister

The African country wants to boost in-country beneficiation of its mineral resources, including those of manganese and ilmenite, and provide backing for its burgeoning industrial minerals sector, minister for mines and steel development Kayode Fayemi said.

Nigeria must increase its exploration and marketing of ores and alloys and industrial minerals to grow its mining sector, the country’s minister for mines and steel development said on Tuesday November 28.
