Minimal prices moves in lithium spot market while contract talks continue

The lithium spot market has been calm this week - the lithium hydroxide monohydrate price moved higher but consumers and producers are largely focused on negotiating prices for next year.

Chinese domestic market has quiet, with producers and consumers reporting minimal market activity. 

The lithium carbonate (min 99.5% Li2CO3) battery grade spot price ex-works domestic China* remained at 170,000-180,000 yuan ($25,733-27,247) per tonne on November 30, according to Industrial Minerals’ assessment.
