China's refractory materials output down 12% in Jan-Sep

Reduced demand, supply shortages and the burden of environmental inspections combined to reduce China's refractories output to 14.22 million tonnes in the first three quarters of the year.

China’s total output of refractory materials in the first three quarters of 2017 was 14.22 million tonnes, according to data from the China Association of Refractories. This was down by 11.69% year-on-year.
