CMP starts new calcined bauxite production

Porduction begins at 80,000 tonne calcination facility in Guizhou

Calcined bauxite producer China Mineral Processing (CMP) started commercial production at its new plant in Guizhou, South West China, in November.   

The newly constructed 80,000-tpy calcination facility, with rotary kiln and pressurised shaft, produces rotary bauxite lump between 85-90% Al2O3.
