Chinese fluorspar exports to US continue slump amid supply concerns

Data from the US highlights the dearth of fluorspar entering the country’s market from China, confirming the existence of concerns about both quality and quantity.

Chinese imports of fluorspar into the United States continued to fall in 2017, amounting to only 0.3% of the total volume, according to US Geological Survey (USGS) data for the third quarter of the year.
