Orocobre ramps up lithium carbonate production while contract prices increase

Orocobre ramps up lithium output in the fourth quarter of 2017 with lithium carbonate contract prices expected to rise on a firmer market.

Lithium producer Orocobre increased production by 84% quarter-on-quarter in October-December 2017, producing 3,937 tonnes of lithium carbonate in comparison with 2,135 tonnes in the third quarter of the year.
