US soda ash production sets 2017 low in Nov

Data published by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) shows that there was a slight dip in the country’s soda ash production in November 2017, however output can often fluctuate within a narrow range.

Production of trona ore, the primary source of sodium carbonate for glass manufacture, in Wyoming in the United States was at its lowest level for the year in November 2017, although figures for December have not yet been published.
