Calcined alumina markets appreciate in 2018 contracts

Strong demand fundamentals from refractory end-markets and the wide-reaching effects of a raw material supply scarcity are supporting long-term prices.

Calcined alumina prices have increased by up to 10% in 2018 contracts on the back of high demand and perceived insufficient supply.
