Delays in frac sand shipments after a spate of poor weather in North America have caused oil drilling operations in the United States to slow

Cold weather has hit frac sand shipments from parts of Wisconsin and Minnesota in the United States, the source of the high-crush-strength northern white sand preferred by drillers, with Canada National Railway (CNR) reportedly halting all shipments for a week from February 8.
