PRICING NOTICE: Proposal to discontinue zircon grade, launch new price

Industrial Minerals proposes to discontinue its price assessment for one grade of zircon and launch a new price for zircon, premium grade minimum 66.5% ZrO2, cif Spain
Industrial Minerals proposes to discontinue the
following zircon grade after assessing that FOB terms
are no longer representative of global market contracts.
· Zircon premium
grade min 66.5% ZrO2 bulk FOB AustraliaUS $ per tonne
To consistently provide the market with the most relevant
data, Industrial Minerals will continue to assess
prices for the following grades:
· Zircon, premium
grade, min 66.5% ZrO2, bulk, CIF China, $/tonne
· Zircon, standard
grade, min 65.5% ZrO2, CIF China, $/tonne
Since Europe represents a large market in terms of zircon
consumption outside of China, Industrial Minerals proposes to
launch the following price assessment:
premium grade, min 66.5% ZrO2, CIF Spain, $/tonne
The consultation period for this proposed discontinuation
and new price assessment launch will end six weeks from the
date of this pricing notice, on April 18. Changes will take
place from April 18, subject to market feedback.
