China’s NEV output doubles year-on-year in February

China’s output of new energy vehicles (NEVs) rose in February year-on-year with the country still promoting development of the technology.

China’s output of new energy vehicles (NEVs) totaled 39,230 units in February 2018, including pure electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids.

This was up by 119.1% from February last year, according to data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
