Mongolian fluorspar producer reduces output, turns to iron ore

Despite sitting on impressive reserves, Mongolrostsvestment cannot make sufficient economies of scale in fluorspar mining and will instead focus its attention on developing its position in the iron ore market.

Mongolia’s sole producer of fluorspar, Mongolrostsvestment, is reducing its output by 10,000 tonnes per year to focus on iron ore.
