Chinese lithium carbonate imports, hydroxide exports volumes soften m-o-m in February

Lithium carbonate imports and lithium hydroxide exports in China fell in February, coinciding with higher contract prices in 2018.

Chinese imports of lithium carbonate (Li2CO3) and exports of lithium hydroxide (LIOH) dipped by 19.14% and by 34.35% month on month respectively in February 2018, according to Chinese customs data. 

Yet, Chinese customs reported strong year-on-year increases in imports of lithium carbonate and exports of lithium hydroxide...
