Frackers' Permian freight shortage to support higher trucker salaries – PLG

Frac sand deliveries are helping push freight costs higher in the Permian Basin in West Texas due to the tight supply of trucks and truck drivers.

Salaries for truck drivers will have to sharply increase in order to end a crisis in road freight prices, PLG Consulting said.

US truck freight prices are surging due to a shortage of vehicles and drivers and an increase in economic activity.
