Imerys revenues rise as refractories, metallurgy businesses improve

The industrial minerals company reports rising revenues in Q1 2018, thanks to takeovers and increased sales.

Industrial minerals giant Imerys has reported first-quarter sales supported by rising demand in the refractories, metallurgy and filtration sectors, although the ceramic proppant and roofing businesses remains subdued.
