White fused alumina prices edge up on supply concerns

Market worries over higher feedstock costs related to record-high SGA prices are boosting supply concerns stemming from the sanctions imposed on Rusal, prompting spot prices for WFA to react.

Spot market prices for white fused alumina (WFA) have edged up over the past fortnight, reflecting a rebound in offers from China, after a short-lived decrease in previous weeks.

Meanwhile, brown-fused alumina (BFA) prices held unchanged.
