RHI Magnesita posts higher revenues following price increases

Strong demand for refractories from both steelmaking and industrial customers supported business in the first quarter and helped offset higher prices in mineral raw materials.

Refractories producer RHI Magnesita offset the increase in raw material costs through price increases in its manufactured products, achieving a double-digit increase in earnings in the first quarter of the year, the company said in its latest trading update.
