Chinese magnesia exports down in Mar on high export prices

Shipments of all grades of magnesia were down in March, compared to March 2017, on thin buying interest from international buyers.

China's export volumes of magnesia declined in March compared with a year ago in 2017 as a result of weak demand because most buyers were in no hurry to purchase additional material due to sufficient stocks, high Chinese export prices and expectations of lower prices in the coming months.
