Tronox revenues rise on higher TiO2, feedstock prices

Rising TiO2 pigment prices push Tronox revenues up, while the company purchases a Saudi Arabian slagger to accommodate rising demand.

Tronox reported a 17% jump in revenues year on year to $442 million for the first quarter 2018 due to rising prices for titanium dioxide (TiO2), feedstocks and zircon outweighing falling volumes.
