Indian soda ash spot prices forced up on rupee weakness

A price rise from the country’s producers two weeks ago has now begun to influence prices in India’s soda ash spot market.

The rupee’s recent loss in value against the dollar has meant that Indian producers have raised their list prices, and the increase has now been reflected in the domestic spot market.
