The HF production demand migration: The European supply, demand balance

Fluorspar, a key raw material used in the production of hydrofluoric acid (HF) has increased in price over the past six months in line with the price increases in its key end-market, HF production.

Around 10% of hydrofluoric acid consumption capacity has been removed from the market in the past two years, which depressed the market for most of 2017.
