Chinese magnesia export market stagnant, prices unchanged

China’s magnesia export prices remained at current level without any fluctuation on thin buying activities from buyers. Market participants kept monitoring the market waiting for clearer direction on releasing the restriction on magnesite mining.

The Chinese magnesia market has been rangebound over the past, which reflects sporadic buying among users.

On the approach of the country’s Dragon Boat Festival holiday over 16-18 June, local demand is stagnant while export prices are holding steady.
