PRICING NOTICE: Proposal to discontinue kaolin prices

Industrial Minerals is opening a market consultation to seek feedback on the proposal to discontinue its kaolin prices.

Industrial Minerals proposes to discontinue the following grades of kaolin:

Kaolin for sanitaryware, (-75 micron, FCL’s bagged > 75 Whiteness), fob HaiPhong, Vietnam, $/tonne

Kaolin for tableware, (-45 micron, FCL’s bagged > 90 Whiteness), fob HaiPhong, Vietnam, $/tonne

Industrial Minerals is seeking feedback as to whether market participants think these prices are still representative of the kaolin market.

The consultation period for these price discontinuations will end one month from the date of this pricing notice on July 13, with changes taking place from July 16, 2018.
