Qingdao graphite production resumes gradually, prices hold steady

Graphite producers in Qingdao in Shandong Province on the east coast of China have resumed operations gradually in recent days after the end of the SCO summit.

China’s flake graphite prices have been stable in the past week, reflecting a lack of immediate need among downstream buyers that stocked sufficient material before a production halt triggered by the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.
