Lower producer offers weigh on Chinese brown fused alumina prices

Refractory-grade brown fused alumina prices continued to weaken in the latest assessment, while low availability limited the fall in abrasive-grade prices.

Prices of brown-fused alumina (BFA) have edged down further over the past fortnight due to ongoing financial restraints on the part of Chinese sellers leading to lower offers.
