Bauxite prices drop further as China supply remains tight

Prices of Chinese bauxite decreased slightly over the past fortnight, but market participants warned of surging energy prices and tightening supply.

The calcined bauxite market depreciated again over the past fortnight, although industry sources in China warn of new issues affecting the country’s producing areas.
