PRICING NOTICE: Proposal to discontinue talc prices

Industrial Minerals is today proposing to discontinue five talc prices.

Industrial Minerals today proposes to discontinue the following grades of talc:

Talc (Cosmetic/Paint 'A' Grade FCL's bagged) FOB Durban, $/tonne

Talc, (Paint / Soap 'B' Grade FCL's bagged) FOB Durban, $/tonne

Talc, Chinese normal, 200 mesh , ex-store UK, £/tonne

Talc, Chinese, normal, 350 mesh, ex-store UK, £/tonne

Talc, South African, pharmaceutical, FOB Durban $/tonne

Industrial Minerals is inviting feedback on the proposed discontinuation of the aforementioned pricing series after preliminary inquiries suggested a perceived lack of appetite for them in the market.

Industrial Minerals will continue to monitor the market and will respond to changing market demands as they evolve.

The consultation period for the proposed price discontinuations will end one month from the date of this pricing notice on July 22, with changes taking place from July 23.
