China's refractory materials output jumps 4% in Jan-May

China’s output of refractory materials has risen to 7.80 million tonnes in the first five months of 2018, supported by increasing demand from downstream sectors.

Higher refractory raw materials costs since the start of 2018 has been offset by strong demand from downstream markets, which have reported rises in production and thus requirements for refractory materials.
