Texas gas pipe to ease sand miners bottleneck fears... eventually

The new project, slated for completion in 2020, will carry excess natural gas, reducing the need to burn it off.

Canadian mid-stream oil company Kinder Morgan is bringing a major new gas pipeline to the West Texas, good news for frac sand producers in the region.

Frac sand miners have bet heavily on sustained demand from the Permian Basin in West Texas, by far the largest us oil basin.
