Haicheng govt redoubles efforts to unify fragmented magnesia sector; prices steady this week

The government of Haicheng in China’s Liaoning province has ratified a consolidation plan for the local magnesia industry aimed at streamlining a fragmented sector. For now, though, magnesia prices are steady this week in quiet buying conditions.

The government of Haicheng in China’s Liaoning province approved on June 24 a consolidation plan for the local magnesia industry following fresh discussions on the topic earlier this month.
