PRICING NOTICE: Extension of consultation period on proposal to discontinue fluorspar prices

Industrial Minerals has extended the consultation period regarding its proposal to discontinue several fluorspar prices.

During the consultation period, which ended Wednesday July 18, Industrial Minerals received feedback from the market that indicates the need for further market engagement on the proposal: 

Industrial Minerals had proposed to discontinue its fluorspar prices for the following grades:

Industrial Minerals would like to clarify it will continue to assess and publish the remaining fluorspar grades:

Acidspar, 97% CaF2, dry filtercake, cif, US Gulf Port, USA, $ per tonne
Acidspar, 97% CaF2, wet filtercake, cif, Rotterdam, Holland, $ per tonne
Acidspar, 97% CaF2, wet filtercake, fob, China, $ per tonne
Acidspar, 97% CaF2, wet filtercake, fob, Tampico, Mexico, $ per tonne
Metspar, min 90% CaF2, fob, China, $ per tonne
Metspar, min 85% CaF2, fob, Tampico, Mexico, $ per tonne
Acidspar, 97% CaF2, dry filtercake, fob, Durban, South Africa, $ per tonne

The extended consultation period will end one month from the date of this pricing notice, on Monday August 20, with changes taking place from Tuesday August 21.
