China's high-grade magnesia export prices fall on sporadic buying

Several Chinese magnesia prices trended lower on soft demand and quiet buying activity. High-grade magnesia in particular saw price declines from several-month highs.
Weak demand weighed on the Chinese magnesia export market,
with most buyers in no hurry to restock materials during the
summer slowdown.
Though a magnesite-mining restriction remains in effect due
to China's heightened environmental regulations, most
producers lowered prices to boost sales, especially for
low-grade magnesia.
