Reduced US soda ash exports to EU offset by South America, Asia

The latest data from the US Geological Survey has shown strong demand from Asia and South America offset any market effect of additional volumes from Turkey.

Volumes of US-origin soda ash exported into Europe dropped off significantly between January and May this year compared to last year, although this was offset by stronger demand in South America and Asia, the latest US Geological Survey data shows.
