Imported ilmenite price continues to fall in China

Various economic and seasonal factors have resulted in a softening of China’s imported ilmenite price.

Ilmenite prices have fallen in China due to seasonally lower pigment demand, disruptions in pigment plant operating rates in some provinces, an uptick in local ilmenite supply, trade war fears, as well as a weakening yuan against the dollar.
