Chinese mid-grade magnesia prices fall on lower offers in quiet market

China’s magnesia market remained quiet, dragging mid-grade magnesia prices lower after suppliers cut their offer prices to achieve sales.

Chinese magnesia prices were under pressure in the week to Tuesday August 28 on muted demand. Prices for mid-grade magnesia, mainly dead burned magnesia 94-95% MgO, fell after a number of Chinese suppliers lowered prices to boost sales.
