Antimony trioxide prices increase as trade tensions grow

The trade war between the United States and China has pushed antimony trioxide prices higher because of a sustained shortage of antimony metal.

The market for seaborne Chinese antimony trioxide (Sb2O3) has moved up week-on-week because of a shortage of antimony metal, the raw material used in the production of this flame retardant, alongside the fear of a trade war which has stalled consumption in North America.
