GRAPHITE 2018: Progress at Imerys operation in Namibia ‘slower than expected’

Problems with achieving workable concentration levels and yield have delayed the development of Imerys’ Otjiwarongo graphite mine in Namibia.

The development of Imerys’ graphite production operation in Namibia has been slowed down by ramp-up issues related to geology and processing, the company said during last week’s 7th Graphite and Graphene conference in London.
